Eddie Long - Cowboy began
his professional career working
with Hank Williams, Jr. Within
six months, he recorded his
first #1 album, “The Pressure
Was On,” which included the hit
single, “All My Rowdy Friends.”
While touring with Hank for the
next 16 years, he recorded 22
albums, including one hit with
Hank Williams, Sr., “There's a

Steve Wood
- Steve developed his skills
with the bass guitar, and soon
qualified for the demanding
studio work in Nashville. He

early 1970s, and who remained
popular on the concert circuit

Preston
Stanfill - Preston's credits
include playing with Chely
Wright in Nashville, for a total
of 13 years. This led to live
television experiences with the
Grand Ole Opry. Friends Jay
Demarcus and Joe Don Rooney whom
Preston brought into Chely’s
band, later formed Rascal Flatts.
Preston was the initial drummer,
but declined an offer of a
permanent gig with them, telling
Joe Don to “go ahead and make me
